Your point is a good one but things have got to the stage where visiting the BB has become more of a frustrating experience than an enjoyable one and I dont see the point in spending the best part of a couple of hours sifting through chat treads, banality, bigotry, abuse and plain stupidity in order to find one or two worthwhile postings to read. Given that it has largely ceased to be an enjoyable experience and that there plenty of better things one ought to be doing you have to draw the line somewhere and ask yourself "why am I doing this ?" How will I know if "things have improved" ? Well Now and again I will visit the BB as a "lurker" have a look around and If I like what I see Ill stay. No doubt there are those who will criticise my departure. There will probably be accusations of "disloyalty" and "fair weather friendship" (or more likely "who gives a **** anyway") but at least Ive announced my departure and explained the reasons for it. Other's have simply disappeared quietly. Hopefully the present state of affairs is only temporary and the fun and madness of the old days will soon return. I think I remember you making some observation yourself about "the life cycle of a Bulleten Board" PJ Anyway thanks to Shauna for the nice comments (BTW I think the "maturity" level rather than the age of some contributers is the problem) and to Bill Door and Melmac for agreeing with me and to Baloo for agreeing with me to a point and to all the dozens of people people over the last couple of years who Ive joked with, slagged off, being slagged off by, had (serious/humorous/surreal/just plain mad) discussions with, agreed with, disagreed with, nearly came to blows with, helped out, was helped out by, and even threatened civil war on !!!! And a big thank you to M, M1 and the rest of the crew for making it all possible
