as much as i dislike them you can't really ban them in pubs or restaurants. as someone said they are a part of our lives so theres not much you can do. they are used to arrange to meet and all that crap. cinemas on the other hand should definitely do something. theres nothing more annoying than a mobile going off in the middle of a film, except the fool who answers and decides to have a conversation with whoever rang him to begin with.
