Either a foetus is a baby (and deserves full protection) of it isint (In which case abortion should be available on an unlimied bases). I think some vauge notion of "limited circumstances" is a bit of a simplistic fudge by people (perhaps put off by the extremists on both sides of the debate) who dont really want to face up to the issue. I think the fact that the politicians have put the issue on the back burner for so long shows that they just want the problem to go away too
