We are in a very dangerous situation and by "we"
I mean all of us. The attacks on Afghanistan have
enflamed the situation in the middle east
to a point where the Saudi and Pakistani regimes
(and possibly Egypt also) are in danger of being
overthrown. Whatever the merits of these regimes,
this is not a good situation. The further polarisation
of the east and west is bad for all of us.

I pray that wisdom prevails and someone finds
a way out of this. Unfortunately, I do not see
that happening. As far as I can see, things are
going to get worse.
