Kevin Barry was captured September 20, 1920, when his unit attacked a party of troops outside Monks' Bakery in Upper Church Street in Dublin. Executed on November 1, 1920. Also on September 20, 1920, crown forces looted and burned Bray.
Captain Patrick Moran, N.C.O. Frank Flood and Volunteers Thomas Bryan, Pat Doyle, Bernard Ryan and Thomas Whelan executed March 14, 1921. These may have been arrested after Bloody Sunday (November 21, 1920) when more than 13 British intelligence officers in Dublin were shot by the I.R.A. starting at 9:00 A.M. Later that same day, crown forces machine gunned spectators at a football match between Dublin and Tipperary at Croke Park - 14 killed and 60 wounded. Also killed that day - Commandants Peader Clancy and Richard McKee, and Volunteer Conor Clune. Captured at Fitzpatrick's Hotel on Gloucester Street on November 21st, and taken to the Castle, they were bayoneted and shot in a narow courtyard leading to the Military Guardroom later that same day.
Volunteer Thomas Traynor captured March 14, 1921 when the I.R.A. HQ in the St. Andrew's Club at 144 Brunswick Street (now Pearse Street)was attacked by crown forces. Executed on April 25, 1921.
