I think the EU have safety regs about flammability of toys - and of course fireworks are illegal in Ireland too (not that that ever stopped anyone) but maybe they will be decommissioned too this year after that horrific spot on the radio this morning with a distraught mother describing her sons hand after a firework went off while he was holding it - fingers gone everywhere!
