I was channel surfing recently and came across a programme bashing Harry Potter books.I was really surprised.I had no idea of any controversy.I suppose now that my kids are grown,I'm not as aware of whats out there for kids.Having said that, my 21 year old son told me he really enjoyed the HP book that he read recently,cant remember which one.He and his brother always enjoyed Monthy Python.Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy was a favourite of theirs years ago.The main theme of the TV programme seemed to be that the Harry Potter books were witch craft repackaged.
