This "super-group" featured the talents of Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, George Harrison and Roy Orbison. They released two great long players "Volume 1" and "Volume 3"(!) The latter did not feature Roy Orbison, who had recently passed away, but instead was dedicated to him. The Wilburys’ albums have been deleted for a few years now and are fetching high prices. Due to the contractual nightmare involved in licensing five big names, it’s unlikely they’ll ever be re-issued. None of the stars are mentioned on the sleeve, so you might still find them filed under country in your local charity shop!
