Finally, someone knows the truth and will so say, thank you.
Indeed, the USA is the greatest experiment in the history of mankind. And if there were no USA the world would have to invent one. As a nation we have given to the poor of the world more in the past century than all the 'powers' that came before us put together. We, as a people, are the most compassionate and free giving in the history of this globe. And especially, that fact should be recognized in Ireland. I know my Irish wife and her family, from Ballinrobe and Castlebar realize this, and are only too glad to say so. Too, an Irish friend from Mayo who is in the finance business in Southern California, came here thirteen years ago, and last year he and his partners' company handled 60 million dollars in transactions. As he said to me, "Ed. where else in the world could anyone land in a free country with $80.00 in his pocket and do as well." There is no other place in the world where the average intelligent man or woman can do as well.
