Just a thought I've been having here. What is it people in castlebar think should be a priority for the town, or even what is it that castlebar should have or have got long ago, but didn't for various reasons. I'm curious to the extent people believe our town should be developed to based on the population and status the town holds. Here are a few things off the top of me head I think the town should have.
1. Orthopaedic Unit is such a basic need for any major town
2. At least one other nightclub, or a super late opening pub would be nice.
3. An R&D facility in the town for any kind of dicipline, just something that can potentially put c/bar on the forefront of a particular product line.
4. More entrepreneures (spelling??)creating new and exciting services within the town, to help increase its self sufficiency and bring money into the town.
5. CCTV cameras and a dependable police force to tackle drunken thugs on the streets by nights.
Well thats just a few I came up with if I think of any more I'll let yis know. I'm curious to see further contributions. Later dudes and dudettes..
