Just thinking that especially in the context of the fairly recently erected official green roadsigns (and I would say totally unneeded because of the existing impressive millenium limestone signposts already there - why the urgency in erecting these when there remains a glaring need for basic signposting on major routes in the county?) both of which spellings are variations on the Irish with no reference at all to the most populist and now best known version of spelling "Breaffy" - Also the sign on Breaffy Road / Mons terrace has a further abberataion or variation something like "Bothair Breafai(fada)"
Doesn't surprise me anymore - The "art" of signposting in Ireland defies all logic and no one in power seems to have any interest or inclination to sort it out.
