Im humbled at the response to my original posting. incidentally, I was brought up in sunderland in the uk but Im pleased to say im irish. not that it makes any difference. I have an english accent, but so what?. are some people so small minded that accents matter? i would hope that mayo folk would know better and IM sure most of them do. were all Gods children. so why do mayo councillors play the race card when what they call" blow-ins" express concern over the environment where we all live? or keep ranting about cromwell and what went off centuries ago? do they think there are votes in it? sometimes they're as bad as the IRDA
