Yup. By the way let's not hide the fact that when that biggotted neanderthal and his ilk talk about Anglo Saxon this and that, what they mean is Protestant, and / or English, and/or anyone with an english or what we used to call 'West - Brit' accent. This would include most of our supposedly reveered patriots. And throw in Dublin accents and addresses for good measure, unless it's 'old Mr Brennan'. So much for pluralist Ireland. One of the main reasons An Taisce suddenly replaced Duchas as the bete noir in Mayo and other parts of the country was because a spokesman came on radio quite often using the wrong accent. Nothing to do with what they had to say, because in parts of this sacred isle you have no right to speak on any subject if your accent dosen't fit.

Blow-in is a very hurtful term when used about people who actually choose to live in a place other than where they were born.
