That's precisely why Mayo Co Co didn't use Aluminium because the real problem was aluminium entering the bloodstream directly (as opposed to being ingested/swallowed/eaten in the normal course of events) does cause dementia. Baxter produced/produces? dialysis bags. This happened in the UK some time back when dialysis patients were hooked up to a poorly filtered tap water and they all died of dementia due to aluminium!! In the normal course of events I wouldn't get too worried about saucepans etc., because aluminium is one of the commonest elements in soil - it's everywhere. Having said all that don't boil rhubarb in an aluminium saucepan!
