Committe of Connaught Comrades and Peoples (CCCP)
The First Republic of Connaught was set up in the year 1798.
After years of neglect by both London and Dublin it is time we once again take our place among the Nations of the Earth, One nation under the protection of our Creator. We follow the United States and France in the tradition of a republic where all people are treated as equals.
We do not recognise the Authority of the Dublin Parliament over the region of Connaught or our territorial waters. The Anglo-Irish war of 1916-1921 resulted in the people of Connaught being included in the State of Eire as a political expedient.
We have the right to our own determination, and in this age of enlightenment, without bloodshed or prejudice, we are seceding from the State of Eire to Reform a state, Sovereign and Independent in all maters, including but not limited to Economic, Cultural, Military, Legal and Maritime. To prevent further unprovoked and unchecked aggression and persecution from the Dublin Parliament by agents of the state of Eire (Gardai, Customs, Revenue Commissioners, Duchas, Property Developers and Michael McDowell) we are declaring a buffer Zone to be jointly patrolled by the UN.
The Buffer Zone will comprise of the Counties Clare, Donegal and Kerry.
Donegal will have the right to choose which state they wish to Join, Connaught or Eire.
1) Rejoin the UK as part of Northern Ireland
2) Join the Republic of Connaught
3) Declare itself an independent Republic
4) become an outpost of the Dublin Junta. (There is a precedent for this in the form of Kallingrad which is a province of the Russian Federation cut-off from Russia proper by Poland)
They will first have to agree to extradite their notorious war criminal for his crimes against good musical taste first
We declare solidarity with the ideals and aspirations of other small nations.
On the Island of Ireland we recognize the sister state of the Peoples Republic of Cork.

We declare our willingness to become active and positive members of the EU, UN and other international organisations. Long Live the Motherland What are the territorial claims of the Connaught Republic?
The Connaught Republic contains the five counties of the province (excuse the Imperial Dublin jargon) of Connaught - {Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim & Galway) 2. Oppose the Dublin dictatorship in their quest to give OUR Gas & OUR Oil to the Saxon Hun, Keep yer hands of OUR Gold as well, and our hospitals. 3. Should the Dublin regime attempt to use force against our nationhood we get the US to blow the liv'en *~%$ out of them.
