1. The mayo development plan (created with the special skills of the eight auctioneers on the county council) that got rejected by the minister and the NRA, yet,in a flash, since november 17 is "operative".
2. Mayos draft development levy and its mysterious under-reporting by mayo news media.
3. castlebar udc for another year of civic mayhem, from the convent fiasco to the saleen student digs debacle.
4. mayo county council for low grade management, widespread inefficiency and failure to implement "better local government".
5. mayo county councillors for producing a turkey of a development plan, plus the expenses el dorado,plus slipping through the draft development levy to coincide with christmas.
6. benchmarking; paid for by stealth taxes on you and me.
7. ray burke for giving away mayo gas to enterprise/shell, and frank fahey for pushing the refinery at the expense of local people.
8. mayo vintners, for their threat to break the law and for generally profiteering and exploiting their muscle at our expense.
9. enda kenny, for failing to land a glove on ahern, when he should have had him on the floor in a half nelson at the very least
10 finally, mayos fianna fail TDs for their silence on development levies. not to mention nick faldos golf course turkey (or should that be albatross?)
