That's a typical public service attitude to claims of poor service. Give us more resources, employ more people, and things will be better.
That's what was said 4 years ago in the public service. You got the headcount, and still the problems persist.
If this was a private industry, any manager would be looking at how best to manage the existing resources. Could work be done better, faster.? Are the right people doing the job.? Though I do understand that if they are not they cannot be sacked.
If the planning department is overloaded with work, why no outsource it to the private sector. ? Mmmm... That's what is happening in private industry. But oh no, it would never happen in Mayo Co. Co. It might show, not just Mayo co Co., but all the public services up for the wasteful,inefficient, waste of time a lot of their work processes are.
Try getting a job in the real world sonny.
