Like anywhere Its only a narrow minded place if you choose to associate with narrow minded people

Also look at the amount of trouble caused by underage drinking (no different from other populated towns in Ireland)
The problem isint with "underage drinking" the problem is with the hypocritical probition on "underage" drinking combined with the appalling irresponsility towards alcohol use by so called adults which the kids simply emulate

Ireland has the highest proportion of teetotallers in Europe so again its a question of the company one chooses to keep

Conceeded but name one town of equal size or bigger in the countrty which doesnt have the exact same problem. You maybe living in a banana republic but why single out Castlebar ?
