McCreevy delivered the news in the budget but its been Harney's baby for years. Don't get me wrong, greater efficiency is needed in the civil service etc. but not on Michael O'Leary's terms. Public money pays for these services and private interests should have no say. When Ryanair was going to the wall a certain Mr Brennan tied the hands of the national airline to save it. When the national carrier then gets in trouble Harney comes out and announces no aid allowed and that the staff must pay for it. This country would be a far better place wihtout the corrupt meddlings of our esteemed politicians.
