I said i hope that "faith is a personal matter" between you and God, i am well aware as i studied theology for over seven years before i was ordained, and teach it now to orthodox seminarians studying with me, and as for the world situation Clara, today all i can say is Man uses God an awfull lot to justify what he does, even the Church has done, i most certainly would say i like Martin Luthers point of view, and hold fast to it, we are responsible before God for our actions and we have a close personal relationship to God which is unique to us, as a society yes we have responsibility as we hold we are all made in Gods image, Margaret Thatchers now infamous saying reg " no such thing as society" was taken out of context, there was more from here in same speech saying we should not blame everyone for our misfortune ect the speech went on for over 7 pages, but its easy today to take " sound Bites" as for Musilim fundamentalism, i was speaking with some Imans last week in London, and they told me that they share some responsibility for this because the west has not heard the moderate voice of Muslims, but it will do as they have to asert hemselves, there are exstremes in most Religions even Christian but they only thrive when good people keep quiet,
