In order to change Irish citizenship law article two needs to be amended
The existing wording for article two came out of the Belfast agreement therfore any change would legally be a deviation from what was agreed in 1998 and would be open to challenge if not agreed with all the parties to the 1998 agreement (UK exemptions are besides the pont the wording is changed and thats all that matters)
And racism is clearly the motivation behind the change. What reason would they have for wanting to change it other than wanting to deport Irish born children.
