Which makes the fact that people do choose to all the worse and besides its virtually impossible to totally avoid buying this stuff (unless you fancy living on a commune of self sufficent hippies)

At least 99.9% of Irish people do though. We do everytime we eat imported non-fairtrade produce, everytime we put on sweatshop produced clothes, everytime we fill out tanks with Iraqui or South American oil and everytime we plug in out computers and TV sets made with components from Mexico, China etc everytime we vote for politicians who sign us up to trade agreements. Eeerytime we put money into our banks/pension funds
