Gawd, what a pickle, just reading that other guys posts, I wonder what happened with that. It reminds me of 2 people I know who were in that situation a while back, could even be them, and he ended up going. She was upset but then just got over it, and has really changed as a person now, a whole new lease of life. He on the ohter hand now wants to come back to be with her but she doesn`t want to know, at all. Dont know if this new guy has a girlfriend issue, but I would say just do it, whats the worst that could happen that couldnt happen you in Castlebar. If you dont like it come home, if you do like it well - bonus! Just follow your heart, and life life in a way that you wont have any regrets, then you will never say if only.
