Yes it is a good idea but while Integrating a spell checker would be the ideal solution, it's not so simple to implement.
So - does anyone know of an off-the-shelf, perl-based, gnu, spell-checker that might work as a plug-in?
A simpler solution may be to allow the poster to opt out or edit at a point just before they confirm the post. We will have a look at the software and see how feasible this would be.
In the meantime there is a lot to be said for cutting and pasting from MS Word.
