One of the few comments in the local press (excuse me, I’m not too often in the Barr these days) was from one of the FG hopefuls in the Local Elections (something Cresham was the guys name) anyhow he was advocating that we should all be outraged at the fact that this report was published in the first place, not that we were shown to be a dirty people but rather the fact that attention was being drawn to this fact!!! How incredible 'just ignore the fact and brush it all under the carpet' was this guy’s motto. There’s been a lot of unease at the establishment of a so called 'nanny State' in the past number of months - well here’s an opportunity to get up off our collective arses and clean up our own act instead of leaving it to local and national government to impose further 'green taxes' coz at the rate we're going this is inevitable.
