I believe Mike to keep up with the other families who spend as much, 300 euro is not unusual for a dress and shoes and accessories also a family meal and booze up afterwards it does not take long to run a bill like that up, i had one woman in tears in to me that she will be shamed by other families if her daughter is not as well got out as the others. I know of one hard up family who have been in the postion of selling items from house to pay for this, i am sure its not required but no one speaks out against it its not worth getting into debt for is it?
