No one in the States ever heard of the "EU"......and frankly couldn't care less........something about "free travel" amongst the European "Nations" or something or other. Now, I'm hearing that the "vision" for the "EU" is to consolidate the outragiously dissimilar European countries into some sort of common bond to create a "Unified Europe" to become a "force" akin to the United States Of America. Jayzus! Who thinks up this shite? This is actually funny. I can just see the "meeting" of the "EU" factions as they spend day one on seating arrangements and spend day two squabbling around on who gets to order lunch. The "United States" is, in fact, exactly that.....The United States Of America. We speak the same language.....(sorta).......We have the liberation of the "free and independent states" to make local statutes......and all rolls up into the execution of the vision of freedom as was wisely set to parchment by our forefathers. "These United States".....as is often made reference to.......in the declaration of independence of our free "country"....as populated by the most courageous souls as ever could have made the journey across the water....as they came.....from England.....Ireland.......Italy.........and on and on and on......and still they came. Untill that what we are now.... A nation of collective "states"...unified under a federal government that all are in agreement with. Because we all are Americans. And we're proud of it. From here the "EU" pipe dream looks a little "reachy". I can't imagine the Germans and the French and the Italians seriously agreeing on anything....and expect the "little countries" overwhelming voted in to do nothing but increase the convolusions and squabbles. Get real. Best thing is to come to America.....as your fathers and grandfathers did. I did too......24 years ago. In America you can be anything you have the muster and initiative to do. We still have room....and welcome your appearance. That's what's make America great. No offence....but the "EU" is a pipe dream. I can see nothing but YEARS of squabbles over bullshite. Won't work.
