I think it was great to have in castlebar, a bit of life that was needed in a practically dead pub scene in castlebar, the pubs offer nothing now in town, never any decent bands. I wouldnt go out and buy a blues cd, but there were some great musicians in some of the pubs, (Flannellys had a great 3 piece band), the humbert was good and Mulroys had a great slide guitarist from Mayo...
