Lest we not forget that the last time I looked this country was the Republic of Ireland (or Ireland/Eire if you want to nitpick) not the City State of Dublin. The development of this country has been stangled so as to accomadate the whims of Dublin. The flippen LUAS is a joke, Less than 2.5 Kilometres of its track was more expensive than reopening and operating the entire Western & South Western Rail networks. By continously overinvesting in the Dublin Region you drain the youth from the other regions. If resources are constantly drained away from the West and poured into Dublin, Dublins problems of congestion while grow out of all proportion & the rest of the country will have passed the point of no return, as you say just a place you lot visit.
