There is no doubting that croker is one of the finest stadiums in europe and i think it should be open to other sports such as rugby and soccer but on a limited basis (After all the gaa have no problem letting the likes of these big pop stars playing in their venues). The money generated from this then could be put into the grass roots of the gaa which is what the gaa is all about anyways. Providing youngsters with hurleys and helmets and footballs and coaching them would do wonders for the game and ensure its future. For instance look at the state of hurling in this country. It is arguably the best sport in the world yet only 3 counties in the country look as if they can win the all-ireland and non-traditional hurling counties ignore the game. Football and hurling are more than just a game in this country they're our heritage and culture and everything should be done to ensure there future.
