I live in a Mexican neighborhood in Atlanta and they're the hardest working people I've ever seen. They keep their heads down and get on with it... I agree with the person above who said that the solution is to create better living conditions in the countries where these people are coming from. It may not be the wealthier countries responsibility to do this but it would stem the flow of imigration. Look at Ireland - massive imigration up until the 90s when US/European investment helped to boost the economy...
