I must admit I'm from Munster a bit further west than Castlebar even where Irish may be a bit broader than Tourmakeady Irish (the only local Gaeltacht?) . I don't think there should be any trace of an English th in Ta with a fada - it's a broad T with the tongue much higher than for a th but not way back like the east-coasters pronounce it - that's just Bearlachas. Bob Quinn from Connemara covered all this in Atlanteans if I remember rightly.
