There are in fact 12 Auctioneers already on Mayo County Council. (No matter what it says on Mayo County Council's website regarding the 'occupations' of the cllrs.) The Connaught Telegraph more power to them listed them recently! It starts with the current chairman. I see that the PDS want one two with suggestions that a certain auctioneer in Ballina would run - a baker's dozen of auctioneers that would be!! Could we be that idiotic to elect 13 auctioneers on a council of 31? Probably. But remember 13 is an unlucky number....
