First there was the CnaG/SF split leading to a very uncivil war
then eventually FF comes to power and Dev starts hanging all his old henchmen so there was the FF/SF
fast foward to the late sixties and theres the Official/Provo split
In the Seventies another split leading to the formation of the INLA (which in turn had its own breakaway factions like the IPLO CRF etc)
In the eighties the provo/continuity split
followed by the provo/reals split in the 1990s
