JJ- You are starting to sound like Champagne Charlie himself. The actual average industrial wage is approx. €25000. You do make the assumption that everyone has a spouse/partner (who is earning) to get the loan. And they do not take extra income from 2nd jobs into account as this is not full-time permanent employment. As for your comments get out and work that is just so bourgeouis in this day and age. It reminds me of the let them eat cake statement. You obviously have no concept of the struggles that young couples or singles face in this day and age when trying to get started on the property ladder and when house prices far outstrip the earnings of your average young people who start off on the carreer ladder earning far less than your standard industrial wage and who often have to pay back loans from college fees for a number of years after they graduate.
