My opinion, having gone down that road successfully in recent months, is first to approach an independent broker advisor, rather than a direct approach to a bank or building society. Get all the information you can first and then decide to follow through via the independent route or the banks etc. I bet the independent advisor route will get you a better deal whan you add up all the costs.
