great comment, but nobody has yet mentioned the services and shops in town that are totally dependent on student business.

pubs and clubs and fast food joints, granted, but there are an awful lot of other places that will be feeling the pinch with the students out of the picture.

not to mention people who have bought to let- this will be a crippling blow to those who hoped to have a mortgage paid by students renting in aglish, knockaphunta etc.

but never mind, it'll be great to see the back of those bloody students, eh.......??
