I agree with you. What bugs me is the chewing gum brigade who greet you with "You aw right"? Plus those who insist on talking to their work colleagues while they serve you,...and they seldom say thanks.
The problem is not confined to Castlebar believe me. The lack of manners and lack of training for those working in retail is really dreadful. Then you have the LRS, the lazy retailer syndrome. That's where you ask for a specific product and get the reply "never heard of it". They don't bother to look up their computer for you to see if it is available and if they could get it for you, they just couldn't care less.Sometimes it seems that customers are nothing but a nuisance to them, rather than the reason they are in business!
