"Kerry's momentum was clearly stopped in its tracks with the swift-boat propaganda"
I believe "over emphasizing" his record in Vietnam ultimately ended up hurting Kerry.
"Kerry made some mistakes. Mentioning Dick Cheney's daughter as a lesbian was one."
I dont think this made a bit of difference. We already knew Mary Cheney was a lesbian.John Edwards already talked about it in his debate.Who cares anyway. The big issue was gay marriage.
"I think Kerry underplayed the fact that Bush was fighting the wrong war, while Iran and North Korea are developing WMD, Bush committed all his forces to the country that had none. The argument should have been hammered home that this has put America more at risk."
Shane,if you live in Ireland,I think you and alot of people there worry too much about Fox News.In fact are a little obsessive about it.
"Ultimately the victory was won in Florida and Ohio. Kerry polled well on the economy, so it was down to the war on terror and morality. I think if Kerry had been more consistant in his message from the start he could have inflicted more damage on Bush's handling of the war."
