I believe "over emphasizing" his record in Vietnam ultimately ended up hurting Kerry.

I dont think this made a bit of difference.We already knew Mary Cheney was a lesbian.John Edwards already talked about it in his debate.Who cares anyway.The big issue was gay marriage.

Shane,if you live in Ireland,I think you and alot of people there worry too much about Fox News.In fact are a little obsessive about it.

"Ultimately the victory was won in Florida and Ohio. Kerry polled well on the economy, so it was down to the war on terror and morality. I think if Kerry had been more consistant in his message from the start he could have inflicted more damage on Bush's handling of the war."
