The Irish constitution refers to God and I think Irish Judges have to swear an oath on the Bible which would suggest a christian belief.
I haven't read the American Constitution but it probably mentions God as their money says 'In God we Trust' and has a picture of the founding fathers.
Because the authors of the constitution were Christians you can argue that when they mentioned God that they meant the Christian God or Catholic God in Ireland's case.
This would be a historical interpretation of the constitution.
