If you want to graduate from Galway or any other college in the country, fine but just remember that their graduation days are held on a weekday.
Staff in Castlebar gave up a Saturday without pay in order to facilitate students and parents. This worked without a hitch for the last 10 years. Because of the success of this policy it has resulted in a numbers problem. In light of the negative reaction of members of the public to the problems that arose maybe the time has come to switch the graduation back to midweek which will inevitably lead to a reduction in attendance. The rest of your comments regarding the proposals of the board dont deserve comment in light of the fact that all the staff were trying to do was facilitate people such as yourself.
