But sure I always wanted to go to Charlestown. Such a Metropolis! And that wilderness beyond is so good the NRA don't think it's worth touching till half way to 2100. Ah sure 'tis a great road altogether apart from the long crappy bit between Swinford and Charlestown and then there's that piece where the building protrudes onto the main national route (I wonder which party does the owner belong too).

And then of course there's all the private houses that open directly onto this so-called national route causing hazards. Including a certain person's daughter's house it has to be said. Well we could fight over a few inches but really it's on the national route isn't it now? And they are building like mad at that junction on the Swinford bit (really the end of any decent road between Castlebar and beyond Longford) so that the disproportionate number of accidents already recorded there can only but go upwards. Who are the auctioneers/developers/landowners who are responsible for these? And which party do they belong to? I wonder.
