The "university" thing is even more ridiculous than this "Cathedral" nonsense

Lots of Cities dont have universities
Kilkenny, Newry, Lisburn, Derry/Londonderry
Limerick (the university of "Limerick" is actually in Castletroy), Craigavon, Armagh (It has a campus but its being closed down), Waterford (AFIK)

On the other hand
Coleraine and Castletroy have universities but arent cities

And Castlebar has "the poor mans university" :-)
