Before anybody comes along and says this is in the Good Fri Agreement etc...it is, and was not! Now we all know the agreement is dynamic and wasn't perfect and will be subject to changes. But if the release of these murders is what is being asked of the Irish Government from Sinn Fein - then they should come out openly and say it. To my mind Bertie Ahern has sweated over this question for a long time, but he is letting Sinn Fein away with too much. Okay, if this is the price to pay for a 'lasting settlement' then it's something that will have to be swallowed. BUT MAKE SINN FEIN SAY THIS IS THEIR DEMAND.
