Thw work fine in Galway and Longford so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work well in Castlebar !

You'll always get yahoos wandering out trying to cross between traffic but in fairness at present they don't have many other options do they ?

If we get zebra crossings then we can penalise people for jay walking so it all balances out . . .
