Ah well looks like a divided bunch here on this issue, well anyway did ye know that there is one on the chimney of Rocky pub it would be a dual band 900&1800 MGHZ have a look plain as day I wonder is there any planning there, Any idiot who thinks that these transmitters are safe has obviously used his/her mobile too much and fried their brain experts say any Hand held device above 05 watt output is dangerous. The Gsm transmitters have to be emitting something in the region of 500 watts, After all the rte and tg4 signals from the castlebar relay station is 9000 watts on UHF band A The RTE transmitter in Three rock up the Dublin Mountains Packs a Warming 25000 watts and on a Foggy Night Has been known the glow Orange. The phone corporations will not release wattage rating and don’t want any 1 to know phones are dangerous so its kept Hush Hush like the Tobacco companies in America.MMDS Sould be in this Disscussion

Where do you get your info Mike about the strength of GSM Transmissions Phones are logging onto the networks looking for active cells and verifiyin the Imei They are also transmitting a very high freq at high wattage for Dual Band GSM
