Yes agree - good article in one of the Sunday papers today about false claims of broadband and bandwidth which doesn't give a true account of the contention problems which reduce the nominal bandwidth. France has 8000kb at 15 euro per month Ireland has 512kb at 30 to 40 euro per month.

Living outside town means that you can forget it altogether unless you can stump up for a really expensive satellite system or get enough interest in setting up your own wifi network.
