I am not begging. Only looking for an idea. The nun told me to contact some outfit and they would bring a contaner, but I would have to fill it with ony summer cloths. I asked the church decon and he said we didn't have the means and time for a drive like that. We are a small church with only 2 masses on sunday with a priest that drives 50 miles to say mass from Rockford. It is an irish St Pat and the oldest one in the McHenry county. Some of the graves are 1857.

When I was younger I donated my truck and times to many things like this. With help from 2 other trucks, some fellows and I moved a complete battered ladies home in about 4 hours, from one building to another. I remember I told the leaders that I had no money to donate, but I would donate my times and truck to help them. I did all kinds of work. I even had to put a pad lock on the meat frezzer because the ladies were using too much of the wrong food.

Years ago, if I was going to work on a construction job on the east coast, I would gladly truck that organ to east coast. I even gave a ride up to Minot, North Decoda to a electrian from donegal so he could work on the guilded missles. He had no money for gas, just food money. I told him the seat uas empty, jump in. He bought work clothes and then washed them to make them look worn. He made a lot of money. I left because I missed chicago and the irish dances. He stayed up there until it got to cold. Came back with a police interceper sherrif car.
