"The church is not awash with money"?? estimated wealth of gold, silver and art trasures in Vatican alone tops 32 billion at 1982 price scale, bishops have palaces? priests have a house each? the church owns most of the best land in cities in states and other countries, get a grip will you, the man who hung himself at Blackfriars bridge was the Vaticans banker, one of your American bishops Marchinkus was moved from the bank as he had his hand in the till, as for the church having to pay out the victims of abuse so it should no amount of money can compensate them for the misery, they went through, arent they more important Edd than your little organ?
