Danny i moved here six years ago and vote in Irish and Uk elections, if you write to your local authority that you left in the Uk they will put you on register of electors (outside the UK list) they will two weeks before general elections send you a voting card you vote and return it and its counted on the night, ignore that ignorant fool called Mike who asked you to go back, all citizens can vote and should vote its your democratic right, even though you live outside that countries borders you are still Irish or British by birth, i do think there is an agreement where people from here in the republic are entitled to vote in all elections in the United Kingdom best of luck now
